Project description: To provide solutions and protection to its clients who are unable to afford medical services. This is entailed to make the community’s way of life more comfortable and reasonable by giving equal opportunities in the community on their health.
Jubilee insurance is a non-profit organization that aims at providing medical services to individuals who are unable to provide for themselves. It tends to provide for the community solutions and protection in matters related to medical care among individuals living in poverty. The proposed persons who ought to be assisted in Los Angeles is about 1000000 where as we are able to support only 450, 000 people (Carlson, O’Neal-McElrath & The Alliance for Nonprofit Management, 2008). For the first three years, we have been able to assist about 45% of the population in the area, and this shows that since we started we have made a reasonable impact in the community.
The firm is being funded by the government and some private organizations as at now, and your assistance will definitely be appreciated. Furthermore, our supporter is the government and good individuals from the neighboring states and those managing the firm are individuals from the same community. The firm has had some major positive impacts where it was rewarded seven rewards for being the best non-profit insurance company in 2012. Thus, this shows that the firm has met some of the sensitive issues that affect the community (Carlson, O’Neal-McElrath & The Alliance for Nonprofit Management, 2008). This is seen where it was rewarded seven rewards for its assistance to the community in issues related to diseases and maternity women.
The firm is having issues of being unable to assist the remaining percentage of 46% which needs about $800,000 that is supposed to be used to insure them. These are individuals who are affected with HIV/ AIDS and cancer; this has risen as a problem due to the rise of individuals being affected. This capital is meant for hiring tutors that will assist them on how to live positively and also provide medical assistance for them. Therefore, we believe that your assistance will definitely help us make their lives much better and comfortable (Carlson, O’Neal-McElrath & The Alliance for Nonprofit Management, 2008). This is so as the firm is determined to be there for all individuals as we believe that all individuals are equal and deserve the same treatment in health care.
If the firm gets funded, it will be able to insure those individuals that haven’t been insured so far and reduce the percentage of poverty in the community. Moreover, the living conditions of expectant women will be made more comfortable where there will be better services for them. Young children will be treated well, and there will be enough blood donation that will be available during emergency cases since the firm will make sure there is better methods of storing blood (Carlson, O’Neal-McElrath & The Alliance for Nonprofit Management, 2008). In the event of this, community will be in a better situation since their problems concerning medical covers will have been resolved.
Investment in more modernized technology will enable the firm to assist the middle aged individuals to be assisted with more modernized machines that will make their movement better and faster. This indicates that wheelchairs and crutches will be provided for movement. Furthermore, presence of other states assisting the firm will not only make it recognized but also make the firm’s services to its clients better and more appealing. This will also reduce poverty level for the community especially in the medical sector as it is designed to rise their way of life (Carlson, O’Neal-McElrath & The Alliance for Nonprofit Management, 2008). This shows that the firms objectives will be met where as the community will benefit positively.
The firm is planning to achieve most of the set targets for its community within a period of one year so as to make their lives better within the shortest time possible. The community’s problem is meant to be resolved by the firm, government and other private organizations that have opted to assist. If assisted, we are determined that will be in the position of providing information to you within one year and three months time concerning our progress. Furthermore, we will publish the firm’s progress in order to share it with other agencies in the state. Therefore, the aim of Jubilee insurance firm is to provide a solution and provide individuals in the community with protection in health care (Carlson, O’Neal-McElrath & The Alliance for Nonprofit Management, 2008). If we accomplish this target, there is no doubt that we will remain an active player in the field of offering medical assistance as a non-profit organization.
