. Monday 3:45 pm November 7th, 2022

Event: driving to the gym, to go lift weights and play basketball.

Stress: Eustress

Reaction: I took caffeine and was somewhat anxious. Preparing for competition and the battle within my mind to get the best workout I can get. Its always bitter sweet because its not like I am stressing about something negative.

Wednesday November 9, 2022 8:30

Event: Checking Canvas and tasks

stress: HyperstressReaction: I started trying to do all I can. Doing assignments and watching needed videos for other assignments. When I started to do that I started remembering all the due dates that are coming up and started to really stress. I think when I stress, I sometimes focus in and start to do what I need to do. It just a matter of if I have enough time or not.

Tuesday November 8, 2022 11:30- 4pm

Event: playing video games and sleeping in

Stress: Hypostress

Reaction: This was a moment I did not realize I had a lot of assignments due and no work. I began to just try and find things to do because I was so bored. I began to clean the house.

Sunday November 6th, 2022

Event: Working as a lifeguard 11-6pm

Stress: HypostressReaction: My feelings, were that I was very bored. Like the hypostress example that they use in Chapter 8, hypostress is common in workplaces that you continue to do the same things at work. At work for 6 hours straight I am just rotating and watching the water. This just makes me fidgety and since I been doing it for so long makes me not watch the water as good. Luckily the pool is mainly empty now. However, If I am doing the same thing for 4-6 hours straight how can I do my job right?

Saturday November 5th, 2022 2am

Event: laying in bed

stress: Distress

Reaction: My feelings of distress, were because I am anxious about my business and money. I want to get my business up and running now, but I needd to have the funds for all the gear I need. I also need to make sure i am doing good in school and also work enough to make money to support my dream business. Just like chapter 8 says , this is something I think about on a daily basis. I’m always stressing about even though I know I have to be patient.

I was not necessarily surprised but It did make me aware of certain traits that I possess that can go both ways of being extremely healthy and also toxic and unhealthy.

The dangers of type A personality can come with a lot of stress problems. Stressing over things they can not control, and never satisfied. But it can also lead to a number of health problems listed in chapter 8, such as heart disease and high blood pressure.

I think that it is possible for someone to change types, if they develop good traits from each side being around someone with a lot of influence on you can sway you into these types. Whether its mentor, parent, or friend. I think it could also be possible to share multiple traits from each side and be able to present both types in different situations.

No I do not think I would want to change my behavior type. I feel that this type keeps me in line. Just stressing about things I know will propel into another level. Never being satisfied with things. I love this about myself because it makes me strive for the things I want out of life.

. Exercise is a wonderful strategy to lower stress. This causes the release of endorphins, which have positive effects on mood. Exercise is a further method for assisting in the eradication of whatever is causing you tension. Finding a form that you like will improve the efficiency of your training. Relaxation exercises are an excellent approach to deal with stress. Some people have reported that deep breathing exercises can help them relax. Others may realize that listening to calming music or reading a book might make them feel less stressed. Experiment and see what works best for you.
