Film Proposal

Introduction

A good film should serve to meet its true purpose of inspiring an audience (Valck, 2007). As such, there are stipulated procedurals that are meant to guide the production of a quality, attention-grapping film. The first of the requirements is to establish proposal template that should inspire the production of the film. The proposal is meant to enlighten the producers about the intent of the writer and instill interest into features of the film (Rosenthal, 2011).

Objective of Proposal

This proposal serves to spur interest of the HBO film producers in the production of the film. That would be achieved through creating highlights into the features of the film that are meant to capture a large audience attention (Rosenthal, 2007). Moreover, the proposal also points out the limited expenses that are to be used in the general production.

The proposal acts as the launching pad for the film by selling the idea to producers and providing guidelines for the writing and production (Valck, 2007).

Title of Film

The film is to be given the title ‘The Apartment’. That is because the main casts are to be made in the domicile of the couple in which there also resides the spirit that enslaves the couple. The Apartment has a hidden history that includes a rich man who committed suicide in the apartment in the late 20th century. According to the history of the apartment, a rare aurier can be used to detect the presence of the spirit.

The title of the film covers most of the drama and gives the viewers an insight into the nature of the film (Rosenthal, 2007).
