Subtest

I my analysis, I would opt for Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Achievement-III (WJ-ACH-III) and Wechsler Individual Achievement Test, Third Edition (WIAT-III). This would help me to give a more informed examination of the preferred sub tests. Actually, these batteries are very important because they can help in giving out a flexible coverage of the appropriate tests to administer to the right population.

As a psychologist, I would choose questions concerning mental disorders. These are so relevant because they will be in line with my area of study. Hence, from the Mental Measurements Yearbook (MMY), I will only select questions from this topic because they can help me in addressing mental problems without many problems. This subtest is the most applicable for any person intending to understand much about the psychology of human being.

When WJ-ACH-III battery is applied, the test can be administered within a very short span of time. Hence, it creates room for converting raw scores to derived scores in order to meet all the necessary reporting and scoring needs (Luria, A.R., 2006).

This battery is useful in providing a better way of interpreting the assessment results. This can be done by providing a direct link between the evidence-based interventions and assessment feedbacks. Because of this, my questions on mental disorders will have a better chance of being administered and interpreted more easily. It will be relevant to the campus students because of its nature and the way it is given to the concerned students.

When I use WIAT-III, I will get an opportunity to choose from the two options available under this battery category. However, the use of standard battery will be prioritized because it can be used to generate a broad set of scores. These are ranging from one up to ten. The use of my test will not be an extension of this category. If this is done, the test on mental orders will achieve a fulfillment and be able to provide the most desired results. The subtest will help in meeting the diverse needs of learners taking the test. More importantly, it can also help in addressing the demands of learners with special needs. If this is done, it will be possible to understand each of their special needs. As a result, the practitioner will be acquainted with this kind of information in order to help in achieving the set goals of the subject being examined.

In order to do this properly, I will use a variety of strategies that will be instrumental in gathering the most relevant information (Kaufman, A.S., & Kaufman, N.L., 2003). Similarly, the use of such tools will enable me to have the right data concerning the progress and other academic information about the learners being tested. It is only through these activities that I will be in a position of planning and executing my program and assess its growth I an appropriate manner. As a result, I will provide the best possible guidance and counseling services to the involved learners.

The success of my test will heavily rely on the reliability of the test administered. The population sample should be carefully selected without any bias. This will enable it to proportionately represent the entire population of the target learners. At the same time, the data should be collected in a more accurate manner. If this is done without any bias, the subtest will accomplish its set objectives. Therefore, it is the choice of these instruments which will help me to eliminate any discrepancy and realize my aim of carrying out a test on mental disorders.
