8. Discuss the opposition. You will need to address what the opposition has to say about your three key points and your position. Without the opposition, it is not an argumentative research paper!
9. Your voice. Use the sources to support what you have to say. The paper is not a report about the research.
10. Conclusion that wraps up the essay and does not introduce new ideas.
11. Correct use and format for MLA or APA documentation for in-text citations and your Works Cited or References page. Remember, this is 20% of your grade.
12. Correct grammar, mechanics, spelling and correct use of Standard English. Remember, this is 10% of your grade.
