Based upon the weeks discussions, you must submit in writing your topic for your Capstone Paper. This topic may be general in nature, as your finalized thesis is not due until Week Two. For example, you may select Military Leadership as your area of research, and The academic aspect of a professional military education. You will then need to explain why it is relevant to the field of Military Studies. The five areas from which you must choose a topic for your Capstone Paper are: As in your response to your classmates selections, you should answer the following questions about your own topic (and you should consider these criteria in assessing your own post): The paper must be at least one page in length (excluding the title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style. You must correctly cite at least one scholarly source from the Ashford University Library that assisted you in the selection of your topic on your reference page. This assignment will be returned to you within five days with instructor comments, which will indicate if your topic is approved. If your selected topic needs refining, your instructor will advise you of this and follow up with you via your student email in order to assist you in crafting an acceptable topic with as little delay as possible.
