Core IV Consciously-constructed Persuasion Project You will use many of the angles we have just analyzed in someones campaign. The purpose this time however, is to be self-aware and intentional as you build a better campaign. You cannot use the campaign you have already used. First choose a topic youre interested in. 1) First, describe your audience, defining them fairly narrowly. For example, if you say car buyers I will want to know what market, what financing, what degree of commercial use, what degree of sports use, city/country, etc.. If you say potential university students I will want to know what kind of uses they will make of the university degree, what kind of educational background they will come from, what kind of specializations they will anticipate, what kind of resources they bring with them, etc.. 2) Then choose an existing campaign, with 2 or 3 examples. 3) Analyze how they went about their appeals and persuasion 4) Explain how you would alter the campaign to improve it. Consider what appeals you would use and explain the anticipated effect. 5) You may use different modes of expression in your presentation. You will have to have four pages of written text, explaining the thinking behind your approaches, but you may also include dramatizations, films, hyperlinks [the link below is an example of a hyperlink, soundtracks, cartoons, drawings, and posters. I expect that the default here is a poster, but be creative. 6) Use subheadings to insert brief introductions of external media into your writing. 7) Overall, the paper should mimic the format at You will have questions, and I can learn from the questions. This is the first time I have done this assignment and I will be glad to interact with you to refine it. njosh
